Groups

Audiences of affiliates that decide rates, participation and deals.

Groups let you treat some affiliates differently. They decide:

  • Which rate an affiliate earns, when your reward pays by group.
  • Who earns, when your program is closed to groups.
  • Who a minimum guaranteed deal covers.

An affiliate can be in several groups at once.

Kinds

KindWho is in it
DynamicEvery affiliate who meets all its conditions. It needs at least one
StaticThe affiliates you pick by hand

A group's kind can't change. Names are unique in your organization, and groups can't be deleted for now.

Conditions

ConditionWhat it counts
RegionThe affiliate's region
Referred usersCustomers bound to the affiliate in the window, whether they bought or not
Referred revenueRevenue from the affiliate's sales in the window, paid or not
EarningsThe affiliate's commissions in the window, leaving out suspended ones

All of a group's conditions share one window: Lifetime, 30 days, 90 days, or a custom 1 to 365 days.

Order

Groups are ranked, and 1 is the highest. A new group goes to the bottom, and you can move it up. An affiliate's group, as shown in All affiliates, is their highest-ranked one.

Which rate pays

An affiliate earns the rate of their highest-ranked group that has a rate in the reward. If none has, they earn the default.

Maria is in VIP (rank 1) and LATAM (rank 2). The default rate is 20%.

Rates setMaria earns
LATAM 25%, VIP none25%, from LATAM
LATAM 25%, VIP 30%30%, from VIP
Neither20%, the default

When membership updates

At each sale, Fuul works out the affiliate's groups exactly. The sale counts toward its own Referred revenue, so a sale that crosses a threshold already pays that group's rate. It doesn't count toward its own Earnings.

Other screens update after each sale, when a group is edited, and once a day at 00:05 UTC. A sale leaving a 30-day window moves the affiliate out at the next daily update.

📘

Affiliates see the name of the group that pays them in their portal. Name your groups with that in mind.
