How it works
How a customer's purchase becomes an affiliate's commission.
Fuul connects three people: you, the affiliates who promote you, and the customers they bring.
| Who | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Your team | Sets up the program, recruits affiliates and watches commissions | The dashboard |
| An affiliate | Joins your program, shares their referral code and follows their earnings | Your affiliate portal |
| A referred customer | Uses an affiliate's code and buys | Your own checkout |
Only the affiliate is paid. The referred customer earns nothing from Fuul.
From a sale to a commission
- The customer is bound to an affiliate. They use a referral code, and their email is tied to the code's affiliate for life. The first code is final.
- A sale reaches Fuul. It comes from a conversion source: Stripe or the API. The same sale sent twice counts once.
- Fuul recognizes the sale. It checks that the purchase counts as a sale, and marks anything else as ignored.
- The sale is credited. A sale from a bound customer goes to their affiliate, however long after they used the code.
- Fuul calculates the commission. Your reward sets the amount, and your groups can give some affiliates a different rate.
Fuul usually processes a sale within seconds of receiving it.
An example
Your reward pays 20% of revenue. Maria's group, VIP, earns 25%.
- Jane uses the code
MARIA20and buys for $50. - Jane's email is now bound to Maria.
- Fuul credits the sale to Maria and calculates a $12.50 commission, at the VIP rate.
- Next month Jane pays $50 again, with no code. Maria earns again, for as long as your reward says.
After the commission
You pay your affiliates yourself. Reward payouts shows who to pay and how much.
